I got my tattoo 24 hours can i have a shower / bath and will it be okay?

yea mos def.

after getting home from getting a tattoo you should always shower.

make sure to keep it moist with lubridrm. that lotion is highly recommended. but if you cant find it any unscented lotion should work.

make sure to gently scrub your tattoo to get that excess ink off.

take care of it and your will be extremely pleased with the work done.I got my tattoo 24 hours can i have a shower / bath and will it be okay?
You can take a shower now.. Avoid having any water directly hit your tattoo. Use a washcloth and a non-scented soap and clean your tattoo that way, You DO NOt have to rub to hard on the tattoo to remove the excess ink. Make sure that you pat it dry and then apply a non-scented lotion to it. I DO NOT recommend using neosporin on a tat for that is to cause a cut or a sore to scab and you do not want that to happen to your tat. I would use Avenoo lotion or even Avenoo Baby lotion this is going to keep it very moisturized. Make sure that while it is healing you do not scratch at your tat! If youabsolutelyy need too I would just pat your tat and that will help a little with thescratchingg.I got my tattoo 24 hours can i have a shower / bath and will it be okay?
yes, you can shower immediately, and are supposed to within the day to clean it out. I wouldn't bathe just yet, id wait about 5-7 days, just because after a few minutes the water is no longer fresh and clean and it could lead to an infection. just be gentle with it. try to use antibacterial soap, and then apply the cream you get (preferably aquaphor). DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT keep your tattoo bandaged, you are only supposed to keep it bandaged for like an hour, and only for the bleeding. you need to make sure it gets plenty of air so it can breathe and heal faster!!!!!
You should have been given care instructions. If not call the tattoo studio if you are not sure but usually the day after you can. Mildly wash with soap and water, do not scrub. If they told you to cover it or apply ointment then do so but if you care not sure give them a call they are more then happy to give you advice. Good luck.
Yes. When in the shower you want to rub your tattoo to get the white blood cells off. Apply some pressure when rubbing it. It will hurt a little but you have to do it. It makes it harder for the tattoo to scab up. Since that is what your body is trying to do...heal up what it thinks is an open wound. So go ahead but when you get out, be sure to put after care ointment on it and keep it moist at all times!!!!!
DO NOT take a bath and DO NOT scrub your tattoo You can take a shower and gently clean your tattoo You do not want to get your tattoo water logged DO NOT cover your tattoo but use a%26amp;d ointment or aquaphor until its healed. When it starts to scab RESIST the urge to scratch it or you can ruin your ink
NO! Or at least if you keep it out of direct streams of water. No on the bath until it is completely healed 2 - 4 wks. No soaking, no swimming, no sun, nothing with petroleum or lanolin, or fragrances or dyes. Do not bandage, keep it aired as much as possible, no towels, no wash cloths, clean paper towel only, light coat of Lubriderm unscented.

It is an open wound. Treat it as such, or you risk infection, wrecking your new ink with blowout, color loss, and fading. Baby it.

You know all this. Don't mess up your new ink.

I was told not to get any steam on mine, and not to get it submerged (like in a hot tub or even a bathtub). So take a shower, but don't get the water too hot. And if there's steam, make sure a fan is on and it's not too steamy.
You're supposed to keep it bandaged for 24 hours. Then continue to put Neosporin or Mycitracin on it. Make sure you don't scratch it or peel off the skin when it starts to scab...that means it's healing.
You're supposed to do it as soon as you get home from the tattooist. Wash it with any soap, it doesn't matter. Then apply Bepanthan cream or Macro E oil to it.
yea just when you wash over it do it softly and make sure to put lotion or they shouldve given you some gel or ointment to put on it just make sure you put that on
yeah just be gentle with it dont shave if its on a place where you shave dont go in the sun and stuff and make sure u put the ointment on it
yes i think...
