Is it normal for your skin to shed after you take a bath or shower?

Whenever my 13 year old son finishes his bath or shower, he comes out and I notice around his stomache, hips, back and a bit on his arms have a rough feeling stringy whitish strips of skin that are just shedding off him, and you can peel them off, but he says there is no pain. What should I do?Is it normal for your skin to shed after you take a bath or shower?
It's just dead skin, that's all. He's fine.Is it normal for your skin to shed after you take a bath or shower?
If he says he is not in pain, it doesn`t itch or anything like that, I would leave it alone and not worry about it...unless he starts complaining about something

It is just the dead skin coming off, which is totally normal.

Could also be that he is in a growth spurt...in that case it would be normal too
im 14 and that heppens to me i hear that thats because you dint scrub good but what i do is when that happends to me i just take a nother shower and scrub a little harder because thats a little embarrasing to shed in like class or sumthing maby he should use the rough spounges if he doesnt
It's normal for skin to shed after a shower; after scrubbing your skin, the dead stuff starts to come off. My scalp peels after a shower sometimes. But if that happens every time your son takes a shower, it's probably not a good sign.
