Since water is involved and when crossing oneself the Holy Trinity is invoked, don't these fullfill the requirements of baptism in the Orthodox Churches? Can one ever baptize himself in any Church?
While showering sitting in a bath tub full of water and later submerging themself without the intent or purpose of baptism, just for praying in another setting. Is praying and crossing oneself in the shower or bath mean they have baptized themselves?
Baptism has to be done by preisthood authorityIs praying and crossing oneself in the shower or bath mean they have baptized themselves?
David your question is really ridiculous. Don't be funny when speaking of Baptism and ask silly question. You of all people know better
You know the rites of the Orthdoox Church .
Baptism is a public expression of faith. Baptism is not required for salvation. They are two different things.
since not even Jesus baptized himself... I don't think anybody can
It has to be holy water and it is only counted if a priest does it.
it must be done by someone else adn you should have witnesses...
