Most conures will bathe in a large coup cup in their cage on their own. You can also mist them with a spray bottle of warm water.Do conures need to shower or bath in a puddle?
Yes - I believe they do need a pool / puddle of water to bathe.
It depends on the bird.

Bathing is very healthy for birds. All of them usually bathe in a plastic container with water in it. Some like showers some don't. If you bird doesn't like showers don't shower it because it may not want to bathe anymore. Just let it bathe itself. Some don't even like bathing. Some just like a shower. You can also use a mist spray bottle for your bird if he/she likes it. Just remember don't make the bird do anything it doesn't want because bathing is something fun for them and make sure the water is warm and cover them up after they're done so they don't catch a cold.

Good luck to you and your conure :)
No,no,and no.Conures don't swim. They dont like the water showering on them either. You should get a spray bottle and set it on mist and bathe them with that. There is also a spray bottle formula you can get at pet stores.Petsmart is most recommended. It has all the nutrients and vitamins in it for their skin and feathers.just spray them with that.NO SHOWER,POOLS,OR PUDDLES IT CAN KILL YOUR CONURE
you can put a perch in your shower and spray em, most of them really like it, just dont get it too hot or too cold
I believe they are partial to an actual bath, more than a sprinkle.
It depends upon what the birds like. Personally, I change how I bathe/shower my birds depending upon what time of year it is.

During late spring, summer, and early autumn, when the weather is hot and beautiful, I take their cages outside and shower them with gentle mist; this also gives me the opportunity to thoroughly clean their cages, and they get sun and greens (my entire ';lawn'; is edible greens, like wheatgrass, arugula, and clover) in the bargain.

In the cold of winter, I often take them into the warm shower with me; this gives my husband a chance to thoroughly clean their cages. Alternatively, I put shallow pans of warm water in their cages, and let them bathe as they choose.
