With a couple scented candles lit, and some slow relaxing music playing, just to savor the sensual experience?Do you ever take a shower or bath in the dark?

i've never actually done that, but it sounds fabulous!
I do it all the time it's my favorite way of relaxing. Especially now that my daughter is old enough to leave me alone and not interrupt when she wants attention.
Absolutely. It brings a solace and nearly amniotic sense to the bathing ritual. It is calming....and you just cannot make a mistake. So much of our lives are hurry hurry hurry.....%26amp; the time that we are able to accomplish this is nearly ethereal. I do this more often than anyone would imagine....I say ';I'm hopping in the shower..'; No one realizes just how I am taking care and with the aromas and candle light...and it makes me take my time..the steaming is great..and it enhances ALL of my ablutions (what a great word for this!!!) This can be either bath or shower....yes I think more people would benefit from it.

I love taking medium hot baths in the dark. I usually don't put on any music or have candles. I yearn for the quietness which brings me to a sense of tranquility. It's just that lovely.

the last time i did it it was so nice


i put mama mia on in the bathroom had the candles going in a nice bubbly bath with some Champagne and strawberries





i feel like a lameo typing this but meh it was really nice and relaxing
I did that with my boyfriend at the time, we took a bath together
