I have seen a jacuzzi shower/bath bathroom suite for sale on Ebay at, what I consider a good price, but the bath it is only 5mm thick and acrylic. Would this be ok or should I forget about it and look for something a little thicker and/or a different material?

sounds ok to me,5mm is about standard thickness.
